Fall Fest Begins!

Saturday evening I had the pleasure of my first session to kick off the Fall season and it couldn't have been a more perfect family...Introducing the adorable B. Family: some of the funnest people I know. Despite how warm these sunset images look it was very chilly and these kiddos were especially brave. The nippy weather really took us all by surprise. Thanks so much guys!

If you have a Fall session booked, remember to come layered up to stay warm! I always suggest layering for artistic reasons. The variety of colors and textures that come with layering shirts/vests/sweaters/jackets/hats/scarves etc. is fantastic and really makes photographs dynamic. In Fall & Winter, this layering serves a functional purpose too (surprise!:)). There isn't a quicker way to spoil a session then to have freezing kids. So bring an extra bag if you need to, full of mix'n'match layering goodies, and maybe a thermos of hot cocoa and come ready to play!

Mother-To-Be

My sweet friend Liz is due to have her baby just a few days before me - and she is one smokin' hot mama! I try not to pay attention to the fact that she is due BEFORE me and my belly is twice as big as hers! :) Thanks guys! Here's a little sneak peek!

Henry

Last weekend I got to go visit some good long-time friends in Boston and do a shoot for their little Henry's upcoming 3rd birthday. I don't think I've ever met such a cute kid! He is so full of smiles and personality. Enjoy!

Contest Winner!

Here is a peek of our blog contest winner - Ms. Annie. Can you believe those big blue eyes? What a doll she is! I think we might have picked the coldest day of the week to go out for our Autumn leaves shoot, but she was a little trooper. Thanks so much guys - I'll be in touch with the details about your free proof book.

Meet the Brady's

What can I say about this sweet family? They have the most darling, spunky kids! We had quite the adventure hiking through the woods: complete with treasure finds of leaves, sticks, big rocks, pinecones, and even some squirrels. Thanks so much guys! Enjoy your "sneak peak".

Apples & Pumpkins

Last week I went out with a few of my friends to a local apple farm. One thing I am loving here is all the places you can go "pick your own" ... apples, raspberries, pumpkins, peaches, strawberries ... you name it. I couldn't resist taking some shots of these two little cuties!!
